To say my family is Halloween crazy is an understatement. Every year around this time, we start getting * dead * serious about planning our annual décor and party. {10 years and counting!} Evolving trends, new tech + fun guests bring inspired ideas, fresh vibes and happy hosts, but this year, I feel a whole new level of excitement in my Halloween-lovin’ bones!

Regardless of whether or not you plan to throw a party, there are so many great ways to celebrate this fun holiday. So, when the team asked me to blog about our tips and tricks – and what I already had in the hopper for this year – I was all for it!

My hope is that we can help you plan a stress-free, #FabulouslySocial holiday for your friends, family + neighbors, too. Here are the top 3 things on my brain for this year’s Halloween party prep:

  • I can’t wait to style up the house {and party!} with a patterned foundation of black and white ikat circles with pops of orange – these customizable placemats are definitely on my list.
  • I’m going all out on the porch to make the neighborhood kids feel extra spooky this year. I just bought a bunch of these and am going to wrap these paper crowns around them to bring in the black and white.
  • Time to get the invitations out – especially since this year, Halloween is on a WEEKEND NIGHT. {Serious Halloween party nirvana.} But also, going to be a popular party night! Since we just moved this year, the inaugural invite must involve the address. Fun, no matter what.
