Fall puts you in the mood for everything crisp and cool…the air, the leaves and the APPLES for sure!

The menu doesn’t have to be daunting. You’ll want your prep and your meal to be no fuss, no muss. Do-able and delicious.

Try our tasty line-up to take you right from apple picking to party. {recipes below}. Say, “Cheers” with a marvelous mulled hard apple cider. Move on to apple bites that don’t bite back. Reel ‘em in with a succulent smoked trout with a tangy apple slaw. Satisfy the sweet tooth with a light and decadent apple honey crepe cake.

Host the evening from start to finish allowing your guests to be treated to fab fall fare.

{serves 2-4}

6 oz. ham
3 apples, cored + cubed
8 oz. white cheddar, cubed
4 oz. cashews
2 ½ oz. spinach
1 Tbsp. shallots, finely chopped
3 Tbsp. olive oil
2 Tbsp. pure maple syrup
1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
1 Tbsp. lemon juice

In a small bowl, combine shallots, maple syrup, Dijon mustard + lemon juice. Slowly whisk in olive oil. Add salt + pepper to taste. Set aside. In a medium bowl, combine apples, ham, cheddar, cashews + spinach. Combine with vinaigrette + mix until evenly coated.

{serves 4}

8 oz. smoked trout, shredded
4 pretzel buns
½ cup apple vinegar
¼ cup olive oil
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 apple, cut into matchsticks
3 oz. matchstick carrots
1 leek, sliced
4 oz. cream cheese
¼ cup crushed pecans
1 Tbsp. honey

In a medium bowl, whisk apple vinegar, olive oil + sugar together. Toss with apples, carrots + leeks. Set aside. In a separate medium bowl, mix cream cheese, pecans + honey. Set aside.

Spread cream cheese mixture on bottom of bun. Add shredded trout + top with apple slaw. Sandwich with top of bun.
